One Room Challenge – Week 6 Update
Hello friends, here’s an update for week 6 of the One Room Challenge. Let’s recap, One Room Challenge is a biannual event created by Linda Weinstein and sponsored by Better Homes and Gardens. Each round, 20 designers and guest participants transform a space within 6 weeks while documenting their process and their sources. However, this round will be going on for 8 weeks due to possible delays in deliveries. In hindsight, this worked in my favor because I had such a setback with the focal wall.

I’ve started making some progress in my son’s room. The faux-painted feature wall is complete which took so much of my time, but I love the way it turned out. We also hung the floating media cabinet and hung the TV on the wall.
There was a small closet in his room which was not nearly enough for his clothes. We decided to steal a bit of unused space next to his closet to extend it to create more space in the closet. Also, we decided to add double doors instead of a single door, it is so much more functional.
The walls were sanded, primed, and painted a Baby Seal Black, looks great!
Since I don’t have any eye-catching pictures of the room to show you this week, I’ll share a few luxurious headboard designs I was inspired by.
