Bathroom renovation-One Room Challenge-Week 6
Bathroom renovation-One Room Challenge Week 6 – Sitting idle
Bathroom renovation-One Room Challenge Week 6. Come along the journey of renovating a bathroom with DIY projects and creative solutions.
Welcome friends to our bathroom renovation, One Room Challenge Week 6. If you’re here for an update on our bathroom renovation, you will be thoroughly disappointed, sad to say. We have been running into roadblocks at every turn. And no you did not miss the week 5 post, because I did not post for week 5. I was so frustrated and turned in the towel last week.
After a week of feeling guilty, I decided to continue documenting the progress, in this case, lack thereof. This is real life, it’s not the magic of television, delays are a real thing so I will show you the good and the bad.
The setback started from the beginning when I decided to get all new fixtures for the bathroom. I had purchased fixtures a few years ago for this bathroom, but my vision for this bathroom changed. So did the fixtures.
Then we had to wait for the products to arrive in this slow shipping climate. But once they arrived, I loved all of the new fixtures.

All the plumbing and electricity have been completed and the walls are ready for tile. But, for the past two weeks, we have been waiting on the tile guy. Until the tile is completed we can’t move forward.
Good news, the tile contractor is coming this Saturday to start tiling, yippee!
Once the tile is installed, the rest of the bathroom should go fairly quickly.

Can’t wait to see your finished project! I really need to update our “pink” bathroom! For some reason, neither of our bathrooms have exhaust fans! I Need to address that too!

My bathroom is been in the making for years, lol! It’s always nice to update and refresh.
